Compared to any of their other facilities in Yorkshire, Napoleons Casino Sheffield is significantly larger and, in our opinion, considerably more pleasurable to play in.
The interior is typical of a Napoleons location, with dark wood panelled walls, red carpets, and low ceilings; however, the gaming floor has been much enlarged as a result of the recent £2 million renovation, and it no longer feels dim, dismal, and claustrophobic.
The standard games are available on the main floor, including 5 tables of American Roulette with minimum and maximum bets of 50p and £100. Stakes at their three blackjack tables range from £2 to £500 and include the Blazing 7s side bet. At one table, three card poker is also played, with stakes starting at £2 and going up to £100.
There are 24 Touchbet Roulette terminals available for players who prefer the more contemporary style, and wagers start at just 20p. They also have 4 additional machines with £500 jackpots that may be played for as low as 20p, along with 16 slot machines with £4,000 to £10,000 prizes.
The first outdoor gaming patio outside of London was also added as part of the renovation. This terrace offers the chance to smoke and play video games at the same time.
There are four mahjong tournaments per week, from Sunday through Wednesday, with an average prize pool of £1,000 per night. The top 4 players earn prizes, and each participant also receives a free £10 electronic gaming ticket.

The restaurant is open every day from 6:30 pm to 10 pm, and you can browse the menu online. Each month, something new is offered. Prices for main courses start at £12, and for £25 you can get a “Dine in Style” package that includes a three-course dinner, a welcome drink, and a £5 gaming chip.
Daily from 5 pm until 3 am, the bar also serves light fare, and anyone who is still hungry can order from the late-night menu.
Dress Code & Entry
There is a smart casual dress code. Although it is not necessary to be a member to use the facilities, it is well worth it to register for free in order to take advantage of all of the offers and promotions.
Bring a valid photo ID, such as a driver’s licence or passport, with you on your first visit and speak to a staff member at reception to start the quick and simple process of becoming a member. Although you can complete the application form online beforehand, you’ll still need to provide your ID at the front desk to finish the procedure.
Parking & Transport
Just 2.5 miles to the north-west of Sheffield City Centre is Napoleons, which is situated right adjacent to Owlerton Stadium. All guests can park for free in the sizable parking lot that is located directly across from the main entrance.
The casino is only a 5-minute walk from the bus station, which is located on Bradfield Road (A61). Routes 7, 8, 86, 783, and H1 stop at this location.
