How to Play
First, place your bets on one to four Chance/Free Space cards. Once your bet is set, the 5×5 cell card will generate numbers from 1 to 60. You have the choice to switch each card between being a Chance card and a Free Space card.
- Free Space card: The central cell acts as a ‘free space,’ working as a drawn number and enhancing your odds of forming a line.
- Chance card: The central cell is guaranteed to be a multiplier, with the potential to add free spaces later.
After the betting period comes to an end, MR. MONOPOLY activates a lever to randomly add daubs (free spaces) and multipliers to your cards. A daub acts as a drawn number, while multipliers come into play when corresponding numbers are drawn.
Three types of Chance multipliers include Standard (multiplied payout on any line with this number), Line (payout if you win the line), and Global (a winning line on this card will get the multiplied payout, irrespective of whether it contains the multiplier).
Once Free Spaces or Multipliers are incorporated, the ball drawing will begin, with 20 out of 60 numbered balls drawn. If a drawn ball matches a number on any of your Monopoly Big Baller cards, a daub is automatically placed. The drawn balls are displayed, indicating the remaining draws. Red balls mark numbers on your cards, while grey balls don’t match any numbers.
Completing one or more lines on your card results in a winning bet.
The Bonus Game
To take part in the Bonus Game, you’ll need to bet on ‘3 Rolls’ or ‘5 Rolls’.
Once the betting period has ended, random free spaces may land on the ‘3 Rolls’ and ‘5 Rolls’ numbers. If all of the numbers for either of the bet spots are drawn (three for ‘3 Rolls’ and four for ‘5 Rolls’), you’ll trigger the Bonus Game will begin after all 20 numbers are drawn.
The Bonus Game involves rolling two dice. If all of the numbers for a ‘3 Rolls’ card have been drawn, the dice will be rolled three times. Similarly, if all the numbers for a ‘5 Rolls’ card have been drawn, the dice will be rolled five times. If all numbers are drawn for both Bonus Game cards, two separate Bonus Games will be played consecutively.
The Monopoly Big Baller Board
The MONOPOLY board is similar to the layout of a standard MONOPOLY board, but each property is associated with a multiplier. In the Bonus Game, houses and hotels are randomly constructed on specific properties, increasing their multipliers.
As the dice are rolled, MR. MONOPOLY moves the corresponding number of spaces on the board. The cumulative Bonus Game winnings will then be displayed and added to your Bonus win.
If MR. MONOPOLY lands on Chance or Community Chest, you can either get a random cash prize or incur a fee. Should MR. MONOPOLY stop on the ‘Go to Jail’ space, he will move to the jail space, and you must roll a double to exit. Going to jail and ending the Bonus Game while stuck in jail won’t have an impact on your previous Bonus winnings. An additional dice roll will be granted if a double is rolled during the regular bonus game.
Income tax will lessen your Bonus winnings by 10%, while Supertax will reduce your winnings by 20% if your Bonus winnings permit. When MR. MONOPOLY passes ‘GO’, all prizes on the game board will be doubled. Once no more rolls remain, the Bonus Game comes to an end – and your total bonus game winnings, along with any Bingo game winnings, are paid out. This is where the full on monopoly fun is!
